What is up friends?!! I’ve had such a productive two days. Thursday our builder comes out to chat with us and take a look around. We have plans to add on to our house/ make some updates so all we need is for him to do his thing and tell us when to move out! Woo hoo!! I cannot WAIT to have a dishwasher LOL. I seriously don’t know how families of 4+ make it without a dishwasher…I hope they don’t. We are. Truly blessed to have these modern appliances haha. I want to share more about our plans and especially some of the cool elements of this house that we are 100% keeping. So, more to come on that.
I shared a few recipes a while back and some of my friends seemed to enjoy that so I’m going to make that weekly thing. Not only do I love making my own food but also it’s a lot of fun to share and show that not every recipe has to be difficult…especially the healthy ones. I will share a full menu this week but right now I want to share a new one and a household fave.
NEW Recipe –
Jalapeno Popper Stuffed Chicken from That Low Carb Life
Most of you know that we have 2 low carb days in the Fasterway Program. On those days I don’t deviate much except for dinner. It’s just easier for me to be more of a creature of habit on these days because I think they’re the most difficult days to plan. I’ve been wanting to do a stuffed chicken for a while and finally came across this super easy and delicious looking recipe. I can’t wait to try it tonight and share how it was. I’ll post on stories later!
Household FAVORITE Recipe
Southern Style Hamburger Steaks with Onion and Mushroom Gravy
These are freaking TASTY. Like for real. The changes I make – I use cornstarch – not arrowroot!! I know it’s Whole30 and supposed to be better but I’ve never been able to successfully use it so cornstarch works just fine…it’s not a ton so it works best for us. I also do not use mushrooms. I love mushrooms but Philip does not so we just leave them out. I definitely add more onions because I’m obsessed with onions…if you don’t like either, use the onions and then just strain them out so that you make sure to get the yummy flavor. I also use Soy Sauce, not coconut aminos. I do not add parsley for serving either…I know it’s pretty but I’m too ready to dig in to worry about it haha! Other than that, this recipe is SO easy and you’ll love it. I’m making it tomorrow night with potatoes…or rice. I haven’t decided.
Amazon FIND
Okay, I’m trying to get on this train of finding really good Amazon products. I’ve heard about this CRZ Yoga brand and went ahead and bought the long sleeve top that is similar to the Lululemon Swiftly Tech Long Sleeve. I linked both but I would say the Amazon top wins for quality and price. It’s $24 vs Lulu’s $78 top. The CRZ Amazon top is thicker, just as warm and the fit is incredible. I was pretty blown away. I’m not convinced the tights will be as good but they’ve peaked my interest enough that I’m’ going to be ordering them this week. I’ll be sure and share that as well! If anything, this Amazon top makes a really good base layer for casual wear, skiing, hunting and exercise.

I know this was a very random post but thanks for hanging out with me.
